Photography Tip for Real Estate Agents
Turn off the flash! It’s that simple. Whether you’re using your cell phone or an actual camera, turning the flash off will improve your pictures, which will improve your chances of selling. The flash can cause undesirable effects, like bounce off on reflective surfaces, a washed out or unnatural coloring, red-eye effect and pulls focus to irrelevant features. If you’re wanting to showcase how spacious a kitchen is, you don’t want the focal point to be the aluminum toaster, right? Another reason not to use flash is it’s difficult to use effectively if you’re not a professional photographer. We’re not saying flash can’t be useful, but the majority of agents are sales champions, not expert shutterbugs. Have fun photographing houses and interiors, try different things and you’ll find the best pictures to help sell that home!
