Greater Gainesville is Growing

It is not hard to look around the northeast Georgia area and see growth.  The once completely rural area has seen more an more new residents as the metro Atlanta community moves further out of downtown.

New data from realtor.com shows that the 2016 home buying season is going to be a hot one, with homes in March already moving 16 percent more quickly than last year, even as prices hit record highs. Properties on realtor.com stayed on the market for only 75 days in March, moving 14 days faster than a year ago and 19 faster than last month – a clear sign that the spring buying season has begun.  (Realtor.com)

One look at this data clearly shows two things:  Available homes are lower and the prices of the ones that are available are higher.  Part of that is because of the number of new homes on the market in our area.  New homes provide buyers with options that you don’t get a resale, such as:

Floor Plan and Room Layout that Meets Your Needs

All New – Under warranty

Energy and Cost Savings

Low Maintenance

Community Amenities

Safety

New Home Feel
